Summer Holidays are nearly here

Well this is it, the final week of school for most of us and some have already broken up.

I have spent some time today trying to work out which activities our boys are doing over the summer holidays and swimming crash courses is one of them, as they both love swimming.  Now trying to find some other sporting activities to burn up some energy.

This morning was our middle sons sports day at this pre-school and as soon as he got back I had him trying on one of the towelling hoodies from Mitty James, as I am starting to think about our holiday in Cornwall.   Our boys love them as when they come out of the sea with blue lips - they just slip them on and warm up quickly and we also use them for swimming lessons when we they have to wait for each others lesson to finish.  One has chosen the one with the Anchor and the other the Shark one.

Meanwhile I was looking at the beachhut one in pink and thinking how pretty it was.

Heres hoping for some good weather over the next 6 weeks

New Arrivals

Well we have had quite a few new arrivals here in North Yorkshire

Our hens have been hatching out their eggs and we now have 13 little chicks, who are all cute and fluffy.

We have also just taken delivery of some new pram blankets, which I love as they have tractors and sheep on, http://www.littlepjs.co.uk/userimages/procart15.htm

There are other items in the tractor range like cotton jumpsuits, short sleeved vest/tshirts and babygros which will all be going on to our website over the next couple of days.

They make great new baby presents and I am hoping that some might make their way for our new little one in July

We had a great day at the Darlington Baby and Toddler show last weekend and thank Coochie Cou http://www.coochiecou.co.uk/ for organising the event.  We met lots of lovely customers many with bumps and we wish them all the best for the future, and just remind your friends and family of the items that you would like from Little PJS !

Summer is Coming

The weather is set to turn all sunny and warm - goodness knows we deserve a great British summer - the last really good one I can think of was 2006 - when we had a new baby.  This year it is bound to be a scorcher in July as that is my due date for son number 3 to arrive !

Fingers crossed that this year we DO get the "Barbecue Summer" we were promised last year - and we have just the clothes for the job.  Our summer dresses http://www.littlepjs.co.uk/page5.htm are perfect for weddings, parties or just a treat and we have some great baby pyjamas, with the handy poppers - that are shortie length, to keep them comfortable on stuffy summer nights http://www.littlepjs.co.uk/page7.htm

We have plenty of hats too - http://www.littlepjs.co.uk/userimages/procart9.htm to keep little ones safe and comfortable.

Break out the Pimms !

Not enough hours in the day

I remember my mother saying that there were never enough hours in the day and now I know what she means.

With it being the Easter Holidays it is lovely to have the boys at home and be able to spend some time with them but at the same time I am desparate to be here in the office as there is so much to do.

Tend to find myself working till late at night once the boys in are bed - but I am sure this is what many working mums are doing.

This weekend we have a 2 day event in Durham http://www.rivalarts.co.uk/events/easterushaw_2010.html looking forward to this as it is always great to meet customers and get there feedback.

At our last event the most looked at pair of pyjamas were some boys baby/toddler ones from Mini Vanilla in a blue stripe http://www.littlepjs.co.uk/userimages/procart14.htm which are made from 100% cotton and are gorgeous.

Got to get on so will let you know how the event goes.

Sore Feet !!!

I had sore feet by the end of Living North Live on Sunday evening - but it was a great weekend.

It was nice to see some customers who had bought from Little PJS before come back for some more items.

Also great to get feedback on some of the new products that we launched at the show.  The biggest hit was definately the boys blue striped toddler pyjamas which so many people stopped to look at.  We even had some gentleman stop and comment on how nice they were, which is great.

Just getting everything unpacked and sorted out for the events later this week and also trying to update stock levels on the website. Please bare with me on this as it is taking a bit of time.

Will be at Middleham Open Stables on Good Friday and hoping that we have some nice weather over the weekend.

Busy Busy at Little PJS

We are all up here nice and early this morning as lots to do preparing for Living North Live which starts on Friday morning at 10am.

Expecting 3 deliveries of pyjamas this morning from different suppliers.  There are some new baby bibs, infant pyjamas, we sourced these after they were requested by many grannies who came to see us at the last Living North event.

Better get going as have the nursery run to do as well
